I started this wall
with Venetian Plastering, then put faux painting on top
of it. The bricks are actually
sculptured out of styrofoam.
This
diner is a really detailed mural with twelve life-size people,
two hundred square feet of painted glass blocks, and a whole
lot of faux painted tin.
The young man below was my clients' grandchild
who tragically died in a motorcycle accident. I painted him
looking in because he is still part of the family. What looks
like snow on the trees behind him are actually his wings.
